Strategic Planning Retreat 2023

Following the first annual 2023 Pan-Ukrainian Pro-Life Summit, the Save a Life International team from Ukraine gathered together for fellowship and learning. The event was held March 26th through the 29th, as SALI held a three-day retreat in the Carpathian Mountains. It was a time for training, strategic planning, and team building.

President of Save a Life International Nadia Gordynsky, who is visiting Ukraine for the fourth time since the beginning of the war, notes the importance of retreats and planning for the team.

“During the last two years, despite all of the challenges, we continuously grew and were able to open a new Life Center in Lviv, Ukraine. This growth requires changes in the structure of our work. The amount of team members is increasing in different cities throughout Ukraine. Spending time on learning and growing together will guarantee successful activity at every Life Center. I’m grateful to everyone who came to this retreat and for this time together.”

SALI focused its attention on the management of Life Centers, organizational structure, marketing, and logistics. Our guest speaker and consultant was Timothy K. Lynn, an author, teacher, and successful business entrepreneur from the United States.

“For the results to be stable, all the Life Centers need to work in coordination. Building the structure of the team will allow scaling success for the new teams in new cities in Ukraine and all around the world. That is exactly what we were working on together these few days with the team from Ukraine,” Tim Lynn said.

Despite the ongoing war in Ukraine, Save a Life International plans to open two new Life Centers by the end of 2024. Then onwards to eventually have a Life Center in each regional center of Ukraine. Participants of the retreat were able to learn together, and had an opportunity for individual consultations as well. These three days together were filled with memories of past journeys, challenges along the way, and ambitious plans for the future.
