SALI Hosts the First Annual Pan-Ukrainian Pro-Life Summit

Save a Life International held its first annual Pan-Ukrainian Pro-Life Summit on March 25th, 2023, at the Ivan Mykolaychuk Cultural and Arts Center in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. The event brought together friends, partners, and activists from all over Ukraine who share a commitment to promoting the sanctity of life and dignity of women.

The summit was hosted in the southwestern Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi.

The summit focused on important issues related to saving the lives of the unborn, promoting sexual integrity, and providing support for women in crisis situations. Attendees participated in a range of informative sessions throughout the day, including presentations on the history and programs of Save a Life International, the structure of non-profit organizations, and the impact of pro-life activism across Ukraine and the world.

Nadia Gordynsky spoke on the history of Save a Life International, and Timothy K. Lynn, speaker, author, teacher, and business owner, discussed how the work of pro-life advocates can change countries and the world. Attendees also had the opportunity to engage with presenters during Q&A sessions and network during breaks and lunch.

Saving lives and helping women in Ukraine is an urgent task during this war and humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Today, we gathered friends and partners to join our efforts. We have many plans. By 2028, we want to establish a Life Center in every region of Ukraine, so there is a lot of work ahead. I believe that thanks to all of you, there will be fewer abortions in Ukraine, more thriving children, and many more mothers.
— Nadia Gordynsky

Students, healthcare professionals, and religious leaders attended the event. Attendees came from all over Ukraine, highlighting the widespread interest and concern for promoting pro-life values.

The summit provided a platform for individuals to share their personal experiences and insights on pro-life issues. The presentations and discussions provided actionable information and inspiration for attendees to become more engaged in the movement and to take action in their own Ukrainian communities.

The first annual Pan-Ukrainian Pro-Life Summit provided a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about promoting the sanctity of life to come together, share ideas, and discuss strategies for creating positive change in Ukraine and beyond. Save a Life International looks forward to next year’s summit to continue building a community of pro-life advocates committed to making a positive difference.
