Building a Brand New Life Center

Our brand new Life Center in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, two weeks away from finishing construction!

Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to raise the necessary $125,000 in funding to outright purchase the land and build a brand new building for our Life Center located in Chernivtsi, Ukraine!

Owning, rather than renting, the space for a Life Center empowers us to provide much more stability in our services to our clients, a combination of office spaces for our staff, consultation rooms for clients, storage facilities for clothing and care donations, and frees up much-needed rent cash that can now be spent on operating programs and supporting women in crisis.

This new building is located in Chernivtsi’s city center and is easy to reach by public transportation, which most of our clients use to travel to us.

Currently, it is still under construction and should be completed by the end of July. After construction wraps up, furnishing the indoors can begin!

We will be able to see and inspect the building up close this August when we travel to Ukraine for our Annual Conference 2021!

Thank you to all of you who donated to this special project! We now shift our focus to raising an additional $50,000 for interior furnishings, which will start in August. These include plumbing, electrical work, finished bathrooms, kitchen equipment, and everything else needed to make it comfortable and inviting for our clients who will find refuge and rest there.
