Expanding Into New Cities: Zhytomyr
Save a Life International celebrated the official opening of our eleventh Life Center on August 25!
This expansion marks a new geographic milestone in a new city that we can now operate in: Zhytomyr, Ukraine!
Life Center Director Tamara Scherbatenko
The Director of the Zhytomyr Life Center is Tamara Shcherbatenko, who already has respectable experience in women's health and goodness. Previously, Tamara managed Women's Fitness Centers, taught a class called “The Art of Happiness”, and organized courses for Healthy Eating. Now, her knowledge and enthusiasm unite with the team of specialists to help pregnant women in Zhytomyr.

Vadim Kuryata - Head of the Department of Crime Prevention and Social Orphanhood at the Department of Children's Affairs of the Zhytomyr City Council
Yaroslav Veselskyy - Chief Specialist of the Children Affairs Service of the Zhytomyr City Council
Maria Zub - Head of the Domestic Violence Counteraction Sector of the Zhytomyr Regional Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zhytomyr region
Viktoria Krasnopir - Director of the Department of Social Politics of the Zhytomyr City Council
Iryna Kovalchuk - Head of the Family, Youth, and Sports Department of the Zhytomyr City Council
Olga Yurchenko - Director of the Zhytomyr Local Center of Social Services

The opening of the New Life Center is not only a big deal for Zhytomyr but transformative step in the development of social support for pregnant women and families across all of Ukraine.
This Center promises to become a community of help and support where every woman can find support and community help on her journey to motherhood!
