Empowering Mothers at Camps

Here at Save a Life International, we don’t just provide various forms of aid to mothers and fight for the lives of the unborn.

We also educate our clients on the ways of child-raising and family relationships. Our recent programs have included hosting two overnight camps aimed at empowering mothers with essential skills and fostering a nurturing environment for their children.

These camps were hosted by our Life Centers in Khmelnytskyi and Chernivtsi from August 7-9, 2023. We are thrilled to share this impactful work carried out by Save a Life International's dedicated teams.

The Khmelnytskyi Life Center camp brought together 15 mothers and 20 children for a transformative experience. The camp was named "Secrets of Effective Motherhood" and was led by the accomplished family consultant and mentor, Olga Shvets.

Together, they explored three aspects of motherhood, one for each day:

  1. Embracing Motherhood - Types of Motherhood + Inclusivity

  2. Understanding Your Child - Nurturing Bonds

  3. Active Listening - Building Strong Connections

Under Olga Shvets' expert guidance, mothers discovered valuable insights and strategies, making a positive impact on their parenting journey. This camp was made possible by the collective efforts of a 20-member team, including speakers, facilitators, and support personnel.

Simultaneously, the Chernivtsi camp titled "The Formula for Happiness," which was held on the same dates, aimed to nurture happiness within families.

With a dynamic agenda, the camp welcomed a total of 31 attendees, 11 mothers, and 20 children, 8 of which were from ages 3-12.

The camp's diverse team of individuals, led by Marina as the main speaker, engaged participants in various activities like creative workshops, thought-provoking discussions, therapeutic sessions, recreational outings, skilled hairstyling for mothers and daughters, and a heartwarming evening program and celebratory dinner.

The impact of these camps was profound, bringing about positive change and fostering community among participants.

The total budget for this transformative initiative was approximately $3,000 USD which covered meals, refreshments, gifts, and the culminating festive dinner.

These camps embody our commitment to making a difference in the lives of families and communities. We are profoundly grateful to everyone who took part in creating these impactful programs. Your support transforms lives by making these camps possible!
