Save a Life International's 2024 Conference

In Ukraine, another Save a Life International Conference took place. The Conference was held from June 27 to June 30 in Zakarpattia, considered the safest place in Ukraine. Amid the sounds of air raid sirens, rockets, and drones flying overhead, volunteers from all over Ukraine gathered together.

The conference was titled "Faithful." The slogan of the conference was "You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things." The conference brought together 120 participants. New teams from Mukachevo, Bila Tserkva, and Kyiv were present, where new Centers are planned to be opened.

Last year, our conference was called "Unbreakable," focusing on our resilient volunteers and staff. None of them left Ukraine, abandoned our mission to help pregnant women and children, or broke down in the early months of the war.

This year, the situation has changed somewhat. The enthusiasm and fervor for large-scale aid at the beginning of the war and the belief in a quick victory have turned into challenging circumstances in a constant state of uncertainty. Volunteers live, work, and serve amidst uncertainty, fear, and "bad news." During this time, we see it as crucial to remain faithful—faithful in our relationship with God, faithful in our family duties, and faithful in our mission at Save a Life International.

The conference was attended by a team of donors from the USA. There was also a presentation of the book "Little Feet, Big Heart" by the president of SALI, Nadia Gordynsky. The time at the conference was an important stage for volunteer training, mutual communication, and support for our shared mission.
