At Save a Life International (SALI), we believe in empowering mothers and families with the knowledge and resources they need to thrive. One of our programs, the Learn & Earn, exemplifies this commitment by providing vital support to future and young moms in Ukraine.
The Learn & Earn Program is designed to equip participants with essential skills and resources, including baby/personal care knowledge, domestic financial management skills, and spiritual counseling. Through a series of classes and workshops, participants gain valuable insights into caring for themselves and their families, managing finances, and nurturing their spiritual well-being.
What sets the Learn & Earn Program apart is its innovative approach to incentivizing learning and participation. Participants earn points for attending classes and actively engaging in the program, which can then be redeemed to purchase baby and household items. This unique model not only encourages active participation but also empowers participants to take charge of their own well-being and that of their families.
What makes this achievement even more noteworthy is that all in-kind donations were raised locally in each Life Center. This speaks volumes about the dedication and support of our local communities in Ukraine, as well as the effectiveness of our grassroots approach to making a difference.
“We see how joyfully mothers exchange their earned points for such necessary items. It’s hard for young mothers in Ukraine right now due to the war, economic crisis, and rising prices for everything. On this day, volunteers communicate with the girls, and they receive not only material assistance but also a piece of love for each of them.”
