Unbreakable: 2023 Annual Conference
From June 29th to July 2nd, 2023, Save a Life International hosted our Annual Conference, in the beautiful city of Truskavets, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine. This year's conference theme was "Unbreakable" with the motto "I know why I am here." It was the second conference held by Save a Life International during these challenging times of war. Watch this short video about the Conference to have a better understanding of the event!
We are thrilled to share that 110 participants from across Ukraine attended the Conference. Our honored guest and keynote speaker was pastor, missionary, and singer George Davidiuk. Reflecting on his time with Save a Life International, George remarked, "This was a time for fellowship, encouragement, and setting new goals and dreams for the coming year. I am inspired by the Ukrainians who have chosen to stay and serve in their cities, helping pregnant women and little Ukrainian children amidst bombings. May God bless your work."
During the Conference, our Founder, President and CEO, Nadia Gordynsky provided a summary of our accomplishments and glanced into the near future of Save a Life International. Over the past seven years of our work in Ukraine, 851 babies have been born through our programs. Despite the numerous challenges and threats in Ukraine, Save a Life International continues to operate eight Life Centers in the cities of Chernivtsi, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and Lviv, as well as in Philadelphia, USA and Gdynia, Poland. By the end of this year, we have plans to open three more Life Centers in Kamianets-Podilskyi (scheduled to open on August 17), Zhytomyr (scheduled to open on August 24), and Rivne (scheduled to open on November 17).
The success of our Conference and the remarkable achievements of Save a Life International have been made possible through the generous contributions of partners like you. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your support throughout the years. We firmly believe that there is much work ahead, and together, we can continue to help thousands of women and save the lives of children in Ukraine and around the world!
