Greetings, Save a Life family!
I am happy to share this beautiful story about second chances!
One of our first client’s Nadia from the city of Chernivtsy in Ukraine got married to a good Christian man. 4 years ago she was heartbroken, 8 month pregnant with twins, abandoned by the father of her babies, who went to prison for the violent crimes.
Our volunteers were supporting her through the delivery, recovery time since she had no one around at that time. Nadia is an orphan, she has an older son and newborn twins, at this moment our Life Center staff became her closest friends and her family. During 4 years Nadia changed her life around, she opened up her heart to Christ, got baptized and started growing in her faith. Even more, she started to encourage other young single moms, who were in crisis to the Life Center and her church.
I’ve met Nadia many times while I was in Ukraine and it was such an honor to witness her baptism and see how he grows as a woman, mother, christian.
Last week she got married in the church! She and her husband Sasha will continue to be the live witnesses of God’s grace and second chances in life!
We celebrated 13 babies born during COV-19 crisis to our mothers who decided to keep their babies!
During Quarantine time
27 new women called us for help and received support and going through the programs in our Centers.
500 pounds of clothes were distributed
2,200 pounds of food and a lot of diapers were given away to the women in need.
We are saddened by the fact that we had to cancel our 5th Annual Conference in July, but we’ll be able to have young moms camps for our clients starting June 22 in the city of Chernivtsy and 3-8 of August in the city of Zaporizhia.
Since 2015 our desire to provide hope, help and healing to as many women in need as we possibly can as well as promote and protect the life of unborn. We were able to do that with your support.
May God keep your family safe and healthy!
