Save a Life Newsletter July 2018

Dear friends and partners of Save a Life International

I returned home from my 3rd overseas trip so far this year and was overwhelmed with the feeling of joy and gratitude to God and to all of you who supported us in our journey for almost 3 years!

News from Ukraine!

SALI Conference 2018 was a wonderful testimony of God’s blessing. Over 100 members gathered on the banks of the Dnister river for 3 days to worship, train and share the work and the progress of our Life Centers. We also celebrated the birth of our 95 children that we keep in touch with and so many more that we don’t know yet about. These kids were born as a result of our support and counseling. Grateful mothers coming to Christ , getting baptized ( in Zaporizhia, Lutsk), their lives changed for the better. Young Moms clubs have become the place where young single mothers learn about the new and better life in Christ.
On the last day of the Conference our two grateful clients Nadia and Dasha gave very powerful testimony of how God saved them and their children through the Life Center’s counselors. They are among many others living witnesses of Christ’s work through Save a Life Intl. Every time, when I hear these stories and see the children now running around me, I remember my calling and bowing down before God’s glory in humbleness and gratitude. This is Dasha with me after her testimony……

In less that 3 years Save a Life Intl. grew to the dynamic organization with 5 working Life Centers and 2 in the development stage.

We are widening our educational abstinence program in Ukraine. God is answering your prayers! After some obstacles the doors are open again and now even wider! With the cooperation of government officials by September 2018 we are planning to work in Educational institutions on the larger scale. We are reaching out to the local churches to participate in this program.

On this trip I was invited to meet with the local protestant pastors in the city of Poltava. They expressed the strong need and desire in opening Life Center in their city. In the fall we will start the formation of a new team in Poltava. Also, the doors to Academia in Poltava is wide open for our abstinence presentations. Also, we were reached by Christians from Moldova to bring our Ministry to their country.

News from Poland

In a few months we hope to have our first Life Center in Poland. It is new ground for us and we need a lot of prayers and God’s guidance. In a country with the majority catholic population and illegal abortion, every 4th women has had an abortion. They are going to countries like Germany, Ukraine or England to have it done. It is sad that the young people in Poland are very pro-abortion and we will be going in to schools to teach them the sanctity of life and the danger of abortion.

New Board Member

Please join us in welcoming our newest Board member, Dr. Stacey Sauchuk. Stacey has spent the majority of her career working in a variety of administrative roles in the field of higher education. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Church of the Savior in Wayne, PA. Stacey holds a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern University and a Master’s and Ph.D. in School Psychology from Temple University. She is happily married to Dr. Sergio Sauchuk, Pastor of Grace Ukrainian Baptist Church in Warminster, PA.

Please Pray

The biggest challenge for the abortion minded women is to pick up the phone and make a call.
We are in the midst of a spiritual battle between life and death and that is our biggest prayer request to all of you, our dear partners!
Please pray that God would give the strength to the women in crisis to make this life changing PHONE CALL.
Also pray for:

  • Open doors to schools and Universities for pro-life presentations.
  • The opening of a Life Center in Poland.
  • For God’s blessing on our supporters.
  • Protection for our volunteers as they reach out to students.
  • For new volunteers, as many workers are needed.

Save the Date for our Banquet

Our Save a Life Intl. Fundraising Banquet will be on September 29 in the Philadelphia area. An Invitation will follow.

I am very grateful to our supporters, without your financial and prayerful support this work wouldn’t be possible!

With a heart full of gratitude,
Nadia Gordynsky
Founder and the President of Save a Life Intl.
