With yet another year coming to an end, Save a Life International wishes to take a moment to remember all the wonderful opportunities God has blessed us through our donors. 2023 has been a year filled with various events, feelings, and people, these however made an especial impact in the life of our organization. 

A gynecologist contacted Zhytomyr Life Center and informed the director about a woman named Galyna, who had come to register for an abortion, also providing the Life Center with the woman's phone number. Tamara Shcherbatenko, director of Zhytomyr Life Center shares about her encounter with Galyna.

Zhytomyr Life Center opened its doors on August 24, 2023. Within the first month of activity, a young woman named Nastya, who was eight months pregnant at the time, sought help at the Life Center. During her consultations, volunteers of the Life Center learned that Nastya’s husband is a drug addict, which periodically lead him to episodes of aggression and anger.

We are overjoyed to announce that our twelfth Life Center, located in Rivne, Ukraine has just opened its doors and had its grand opening!

In honor of Giving Tuesday 2023, Save a Life International is launching a brand new campaign! Essentials BabyBoxes Campaign strives to provide postpartum support to mothers who recently gave birth.

Throughout the year 2023, we brought to you several prayer needs of Save a Life International. Prayer is an incredibly powerful tool, and God answered some of them! We are abundantly grateful for your prayer support and would like to share with you the transformative impact it had!

Mothers of Save a Life International aren’t simply clients. Each one of them is a dear friend of ours, whom we love dearly. Their lives and stories matter to us, and we support them to the best of our abilities. A mother from Chernivtsi Life Center recently shared her heartbreaking story, and we would love for you to hear it. 

On July 26, 2023, a young woman named Olena contacted our Life Center in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. She was pregnant with her third child and had learned about us through word of mouth from her neighbors. Olena lived with her partner in a common-law marriage…
